Job Description

Thomas Jefferson University and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (TJUH), a premier medical university and academic health center located in Center City Philadelphia, are seeking a board certified anesthesiologists for dynamic roles.  Several positions would be based out of the Anesthesiology Department of the University’s Jefferson Community Physicians, a medical group practice at the Hospital.

We are seeking BC/BE Anesthesiologists for the practice which is separate from the university practice plan and does not require call. Other positions carry Instructor or Assistant/Associate Professor Rank at TJU. Candidates must be BC Anesthesiologists with experience in general anesthesia.  

The Anesthesiology Department at Jefferson delivers over 50,000 anesthesia cases at TJUH, Vickie & Jack Farber Institute for Neuroscience, and Jefferson Surgical Center. The department provides a broad variety of routine and complex anesthesia services for cardiac, orthopedic, neurosurgery, GI, liver, obstetrical, pediatric, and many other service lines.
