As an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician II, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the electrical, instrumentation, and control systems that keep our generating facilities operating safely and efficiently. What You'll Do:
In this role, you will install, calibrate, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and control systems that support reliable power generation.
Responsibilities include:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical and instrumentation equipment
- Calibrate and maintain pressure, temperature, flow, level, and other process instrumentation
- Diagnose electrical and control system issues using technical drawings, schematics, and testing equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability
- Assist with equipment upgrades, plant outages, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow all safety procedures while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance personnel to ensure dependable plant performance
Qualifications:
Education Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in the Instrumentation and Electrical Field of Study Or
- High School Diploma/GED
Experience Requirements:
- 2 years Industrial Electrical Experience PLUS Associate's Degree Or
- 6 years Industrial Electrical Experience PLUS High School Diploma/GED
Certification and Licensures:
- Successfully pass a security sensitive background screening - Required
- Valid Driver's License - Required
- Successfully qualified on entry level technician exam- Required
- Journey Level Electrician- City/State Approved Certification- Preferred
