Position Summary:
The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, appetizing meals for our residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals in accordance with established menus and dietary guidelines
- Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure a positive dining experience for residents
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and food preparation areas
- Follow all food safety and infection control standards
- Work weekends on a rotating schedule
Qualifications:
- Previous experience cooking for groups or in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Reliable, professional, and service-focused
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay range: $19.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience
