Job Summary:The Administrative Clerk's main responsibility will be Lost and Found management and general office duties. This role will assist the Support Services Manager with property management, inventory control, and database maintenance for historic furniture and other assets. Additionally, the role requires flexibility to assist other departments within Support Services, including mail-room tasks, print shop work, and furniture renovation projects such as weaving.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurate accounting of Lost and Found which includes logging in items received and facilitating the proper return or disposal of items according to approved NPS guidelines.
- Completes Lost and Found duties including frequent telephone and email contact with guests, park-wide Xanterra Parks & Resorts employees to match found items with owners and communicates with the mail-room supervisor to facilitate the return of those items.
- Assists the Support Services Manager with maintaining the historic furniture database and conducting bi-annual furniture audits.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date records of NPS property reflecting transfers and disposals, and completing all associated paperwork and data entry into Maximo database.
- Assist the Support Services Department with Print Shop finish work, setting up functions, covering mail-room tasks, and other duties as assigned.
- Performs general office duties including clerical and data entry tasks using Microsoft Office.
- Assist Support Services Manager with office supply inventory needs.
- Assists in cleaning and restocking office areas, restrooms, break rooms, lobbies, and kitchens and the upkeep of a well-organized and safe working area.
- Coordinates and distributes Safety Tailgates for the Support Services Department staff twice per month as assigned by the Support Services Manager.
Qualifications
- Proficient in general office procedures including accurate data entry. Knowledge of computer software Maximo, Microsoft Excel, ChargerBack and CloudSuite.
- Great communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of management, as well as National Park Service personnel, and project a positive image with legendary hospitality to outside vendors and visitors.
- Ability to complete all tasks with minimal supervision.
- Well-organized and able to complete assigned duties efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- A thorough knowledge of park-wide Yellowstone facilities is beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Opera Reservation System.
- Experience with Maximo software database.
- Experience in a hospitality or resort environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk and/or stand for at least 30 minutes at a time.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate the Support Services truck on narrow mountain roads is beneficial.
