Mindify Wellness and Care is seeking a compassionate, culturally responsive, and skilled Haitian Creole-speaking Mental Health Therapist to provide high-quality behavioral health services to individuals and families throughout New Jersey.

Compensation & Employment Structure
Compensation
- $35–$45 per completed session
- Compensation is based on licensure level, experience, credentials, and clinical expertise.
Employment Structure
All new providers begin as 1099 Independent Contractors, offering flexibility while becoming familiar with our patients, clinical processes, and organizational culture.
Following a successful 90-day review, providers may be considered for transition into a part-time or full-time W-2 position based on:
- Clinical performance and quality of care.
- Reliability and professionalism.
- Documentation compliance and timeliness.
- Patient engagement and satisfaction.
- Collaboration with team members.
- Organizational growth and staffing needs.

Work Schedule & Location
This position follows a flexible hybrid model.
- Minimum of two (2) onsite days per week in Asbury Park, NJ
- Remaining schedule may be conducted virtually based on provider preference, patient needs, and scheduling availability
- Flexible scheduling options available

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Services
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations.
- Develop individualized, measurable treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Provide individual, family, couples, and/or group therapy services as appropriate.
- Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and other clinically appropriate interventions.
- Support clients in developing coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, and overall wellness goals.
- Provide crisis intervention and support when clinically necessary.
Collaboration & Care Coordination
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, primary care providers, and multidisciplinary treatment teams.
- Participate in case consultations and treatment planning discussions.
- Coordinate referrals and connect clients with appropriate community resources and support services.
- Advocate for clients and promote continuity of care.
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation within the EMR.
- Maintain treatment plans, progress notes, assessments, and discharge documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Adhere to professional, ethical, and clinical standards.
Professional Development
- Participate in supervision, training, and professional development opportunities, as applicable.
- Maintain required licensure and continuing education requirements.
- Stay informed regarding current best practices in behavioral health care.

Qualifications
Education
- Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
Licensure
Candidates must hold an active New Jersey license or associate license in good standing, including but not limited to:
- LCSW
- LSW
- LPC
- LAC
- Other qualified behavioral health licenses recognized by the State of New Jersey
Language Requirement
Fluency in Haitian Creole and English is required.
The therapist must be able to:
- Conduct clinical assessments in both Haitian Creole and English.
- Provide therapy services in both languages.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Complete required clinical documentation.
Preferred Experience
- Experience providing behavioral health counseling or psychotherapy services.
- Experience working with diverse populations in outpatient or community-based settings.
- Experience providing telehealth services.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and telehealth platforms.
