Daikin Applied is seeking a CONTRACT Pricing Specialist to join our Pricing team. The Pricing Specialist plays a critical role in supporting day-to-day pricing operations by serving as a central point of coordination for pricing requests, communications, and process administration. This position helps ensure pricing activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with established business guidelines while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the pricing function. Location: Plymouth, MN, Hybrid

What you will do: 

• Assist in the execution of the Price Authorization Request (PAR) process by performing administrative and coordination activities in alignment with direction from pricing managers
• Manage the department email inbox by reviewing incoming communications, prioritizing requests,
• and routing them to the appropriate team members for timely resolution
• Coordinate pricing requests across internal teams to support timely and efficient completion
• Review pricing inputs for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with established guidelines
• Serve as a point of contact for general pricing inquiries, escalating or redirecting as appropriate
• Support system testing and process updates related to pricing tools and platforms
• Assist in organizing, updating, and maintaining pricing process documentation to ensure materials remain current
• This will be a 6 month assignment with potential ability to go permanent

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
• Excellent and clear communication
• High attention to detail and thorough
• Experience with applying mathematical operations to data sets, including weighted averages
• Has previous pricing or negotiation experience
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

• MN based temporary employees are eligible for up to 48 hours of Sick and Safe time but is prorated based on their start date in the calendar year. Temporary workers in other locations vary by state policy. 

The typical hourly rate for this position ranges from $25-$30. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
