About the Role

• Design, build, and scale AIA’s enterprise-level Agentic Platform by combining frontend, backend, API, data integration, and AI engineering capabilities to deliver a secure, reliable, and user-friendly platform that enables users of varying skill levels, including professional coders and citizen developers, to build and deploy AI applications responsibly and in compliance with company standards.

End-to-End Platform Engineering

• Design, build, and enhance the core Agentic Platform across frontend, backend, APIs, and data integration layers
• Develop and maintain core components including agent frameworks, workflow orchestration, integration services, and platform capabilities that support both professional developers and citizen developers
• Ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems, data sources, and approved products in alignment with company standards and platform architecture principles

AI & Agent Capability Development

• Implement and integrate AI capabilities (LLMs, agent orchestration, tool usage, memory, workflows) into the platform
• Build reusable components to support development and execution of domain agents
• Collaborate with architects and leads to translate AI design patterns into scalable platform feature

Scalability, Reliability & Performance

• Build systems that are scalable, resilient, and optimized for performance under production workloads
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability to support stable platform operations
• Continuously improve platform efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness

Security, Governance & Compliance

• Implement platform-level controls for security, access, and safe execution of agents
• Collaborate closely with GTO and Group Risk during the design phase to ensure platform components align with company standards, approved products, governance requirements, and auditability expectations
• Support enforcement of agent-level guardrails and operational constraints

Reusability & Developer Experience

• Develop reusable modules, APIs, and templates to accelerate solution delivery across teams
• Improve developer experience through documentation, tooling, and standardized patterns
• Support primary GIO users, including developers from the Shanghai and Chengdu teams, to rapidly build and deploy AI products using platform capabilities

Collaboration & Agile Delivery

• Work closely with product owners, architects, GTO, Group Risk, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features aligned with enterprise standards and user needs
• Provide regular progress updates, collect user feedback, gather requirements, and contribute to backlog refinement and delivery planning to guide continuous platform enhancement
• Align feature development priorities with decisions from senior management, together with GCRO and GCTO leadership, while continuously improving engineering practices and team effectiveness

Preferred Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Strong experience in full-stack engineering (frontend, backend, APIs, data integration)
• Hands-on experience with modern AI/GenAI technologies and application patterns
• Experience building scalable, production-grade systems and platforms
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and API-driven design
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
