What You’ll Do

As a Staff Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
• Help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, ADLs, and independence
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Supervise COTAs, aides, and students
• Participate in care conferences and rehab meetings
• Educate residents and caregivers on safety, fall prevention, adaptive equipment, and home programs
• Recommend assistive devices and adaptive equipment
• Maintain timely and compliant documentation
• Provide staff education and in-services
• Support quality improvement and restorative nursing programs

Qualifications

✔ Licensed Occupational Therapist in California
✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required

✔ New Grads encourage to apply!
✔ CPR Certification if required by licensure
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Experience in skilled nursing preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply!
✔ Familiarity with Net Health and PointClickCare is a plus
