Overview
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Supports the Human Resources Department through coordination of recruiting, onboarding, employee services, compliance activities, and other HR operations whle delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of employee information.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinate employment offers, candidate onboarding, and the pre-employment process
- Act as first point of contact with employees and supervisors on HR-related inquiries.
- Facilitates New Hire Orientation
- Update and maintain employee data in UltiPro and ensure confidential handling of sensitive information.
- Coordinates unemployment claims and responses for voluntary seprations.
- Conducts quarterly personnel file audits
- Interpret and communicate routine organizational policies and procedures.
- Processes bi-weekly payroll and coordinates resolution of payroll discrepancies with supervisors and payroll
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 6 years of experience working in a Human Resources Coordinator or Human Resources Generalist role OR Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources with 3 years of experience working in a Human Resources Coordinator or Human Resources Generalist role.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with a proven ability to identify priorities, take initiative, and follow projects through to completion
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Professional certification in Human Resources preferred.
