Description

On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Yachting Operations Executive.

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational, administrative, and compliance requirements of yacht-owning structures and vessels. The role involves liaising with clients, maritime authorities, captains, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure the efficient management of yachting-related matters while maintaining the highest standards of service and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the day-to-day administration and operation of yacht-owning structures and related entities.
  • Assist with yacht registration, transfer, renewal, and deregistration procedures under the Malta flag and other jurisdictions.
  • Prepare, review, and submit yacht-related documentation to maritime authorities and relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Liaise with Transport Malta, flag registries, classification societies, insurers, brokers, and other service providers.
  • Monitor vessel certification requirements and coordinate renewals, inspections, surveys, and other compliance obligations.
  • Assist with the incorporation and administration of yacht ownership structures where applicable.
  • Support clients with operational and regulatory matters relating to vessel ownership and management.
  • Facilitate client onboarding processes, including the collection and review of AML, KYC, and due diligence documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all files and documentation are kept up to date.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of client requests and projects.
  • Assist with invoicing, reporting, and general client relationship management activities.
  • Monitor developments in maritime, yachting, and regulatory legislation and communicate relevant updates to clients and management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within the yachting, maritime, shipping, corporate services, or financial services industry will be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of yacht registration procedures and maritime administration would be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of client servicing and administrative processes.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general business systems.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop within the yachting industry.
