Job Title: Remote Revit Designer (Residential Architectural Designer) (100% Work From Home) 

 
Location: Remote from Latin America 
 
Position Type: Full-time, 3-month probation period
 
Salary: $2,500 USD/month
  
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM US Central Time (CT)

Job Overview

 

Our Client is seeking a meticulous, self-directed Revit Designer (Residential Architectural Designer) to lead the production of detailed 3D models and full residential construction document packages. Working directly from reference images, sketches, or legacy project files, this professional owns the design lifecycle—spanning initial floor plan development, structural assemblies, full MEP plan sets, photorealistic renderings, and ongoing client revision management via Zendesk. This role is ideal for an experienced architectural drafter who thrives on precision, manages tight turnaround schedules, and excels at client-facing communication.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

3D Modeling & Photorealistic Rendering

 

  • Converts reference photos, hand sketches, and conceptual briefs into hyper-realistic 3D Autodesk Revit models.

  • Generates 5 to 10 rendered 3D architectural views and produces clean, unannotated presentation floor plans tailored for customer reviews and marketing materials.

  • Modifies, updates, and optimizes existing Revit template files to ensure reusable, organized project file management.

 

Complete Construction Document Production

 

  • Develops comprehensive, code-compliant residential construction drawing packages for single-family homes, encompassing:

    • Cover Sheets with door/window schedules and site specifications.

    • Detailed Floor Plans and 4-way Exterior Elevations.

    • Building Sections and detailed interior/exterior wall assemblies.

    • Foundation Plans & Details (Slab, Crawlspace, Basement, and Walkout Basement designs).

    • Framing & Layout Plans (Stick-frame, Post-frame, Roof framing, and Roof layouts).

    • Full MEP Layouts (Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing plans using $2\times6$ exterior wall standards).

  • Ensures all architectural details and structural elements conform to company standards and general International Residential Code (IRC) guidelines.

 

Client Management, Communication & Revisions

 

  • Manages client communications, project updates, and revision requests directly through the company’s Zendesk platform in a prompt, professional manner.

  • Incorporates client feedback efficiently into updated drawing sets while preserving structural integrity and drafting accuracy.

  • Consistently meets established production timelines, including:

    • Initial Floor Plan: 5–7 business days.

    • Floor Plan + Elevations: 3–5 business days post-approval.

    • Final Construction Set: 3–5 business days post-revisions.

 

Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies

Required

 

  • Autodesk Revit Expertise: 3+ years of professional, hands-on experience utilizing Autodesk Revit specifically for residential architectural design and modeling.

  • Residential Drafting & Assembly Knowledge: Proven expertise producing full residential construction packages independently, supported by deep knowledge of residential building assemblies, structural framing, foundation types, and MEP systems.

  • Photorealistic Visualization: Demonstrated capability in creating high-quality 3D architectural models and photorealistic renderings.

  • Client Communication: Strong written English skills, comfortable managing direct client inquiries, feedback cycles, and revision updates via written messaging software.

  • Turnaround Execution: Highly organized time-management habits capable of managing multiple active plan sets under strict production deadlines.

 

Preferred

 

  • In-depth familiarity with U.S. residential construction standards and the International Residential Code (IRC).

  • Experience utilizing rendering software suites such as Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, or identical platforms.

  • Experience working remotely within distributed North American architectural or engineering teams.

  • Hands-on familiarity with Zendesk or similar client communication and project ticketing systems.
