We’re seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Housekeeping team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who takes pride in delivering exceptional standards and creating memorable guest experiences through cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail. As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will support the Housekeeping Management team in the day-to-day operation of the department, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards. You will lead by example, motivate team members, and help create a positive and productive working environment.
What you will do
Supervise and support the housekeeping team to ensure rooms and public areas consistently meet brand standards
Inspect guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail
Allocate daily assignments and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
Provide coaching, guidance, and training to housekeeping team members
Support the onboarding and development of new team members
Monitor linen, guest supplies, and housekeeping inventories, reporting requirements where necessary
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and housekeeping-related concerns
Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and safe working practices
Report maintenance issues and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution
Assist the Housekeeping Management team with departmental administration and daily operational planning
What You'll Bring
Previous experience in housekeeping within a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment
Supervisory experience is preferred, although strong housekeeping professionals looking to progress will also be considered
A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences through outstanding cleanliness and presentation
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Confident leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
A positive, proactive, and hands-on approach to work
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required
