- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following facility protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
- Be able to restrain individuals.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
