Tax Manager (Hybrid) | Partner Track Opportunity

What: Seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead client engagements, provide strategic tax planning, mentor staff, and play a key role in the firm's continued growth.

Where: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid schedule available. In-office preferred with flexibility for the right candidate.)

Responsibilities

Manage an established portfolio of business and individual tax clients.

Review and prepare complex federal and state tax returns.

Provide proactive tax planning and strategic consulting throughout the year.

Serve as the primary advisor and relationship manager for key clients.

Supervise, mentor, and review the work of tax staff and senior accountants.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Improve internal processes and help drive operational efficiencies.

Support business development efforts and contribute to the firm's continued growth.

Candidates with an existing book of business are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications

CPA or EA designation required.

Five or more years of recent public accounting tax experience.

Strong technical knowledge of individual, corporate, partnership, and pass-through taxation.

Proven ability to independently manage client relationships and multiple engagements.

Experience supervising and developing staff.

Strong communication, leadership, and client service skills.

Experience in a boutique or regional CPA firm is a plus.
