Description
This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening.
JOB OBJECTIVE: To receive and review residential construction, remodeling, and repair plans to ensure all required materials are submitted and in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, regulations and ordinances; to process building permit applications for new construction or building modifications; to calculate fees, collect monies, issue receipts and issue permits in compliance with applicable ordinances, regulations, policies and procedures.

These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of high school and, four (4) years of general clerical experience to include one (1) year of customer service experience working with the general public. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
