As an Armed Security Officer at a residential community, you will monitor access points, verify visitors, conduct routine patrols, and help maintain a welcoming environment for residents and guests. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and armed guard card or license. Deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, vendor, and contractor arrivals and departures in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and access records while communicating professionally with residents, management, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
