Summary
Responsible for supervision of and performance of the Team related to processing scrap, recyclable, non-hazardous, and hazardous waste generated from the process of building automobiles. The responsibilities of this position also include contributing to Environmental Management System (EMS) performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in the protection of the environment and reduction of pollution from the activities within the organization.What You'll Do
- Supervises Team Members in following standardized work instructions as related to the removal and disposal of waste or recyclables from manufacturing facilities in a safe manner.
- Supervises cleaning of work area according to 5S standards.
- Ensures all monthly safety KPIs and other reports assigned are completed.
- Leads and/or participate in team meetings and trainings.
- Participates in Kaizen activities.
- Assists in the creation of operational procedures/instructions and other documentation.
What You Need
High School Diploma and/or 2-3 years of management experience preferably in a Warehouse/Automotive Manufacturing environment.
