Responsibilities
- Conduct day-to-day analysis, operations, and forecasting for IT investment portfolios.
- Support the performance tracking of portfolios for multiple value teams, ensuring alignment with investment objectives.
- Assist in the implementation of standardized IT investment management strategies, including project prioritization, resource allocation, and financial analysis, leveraging automation.
- Work with stakeholders, finance teams, and senior leadership to secure funding for IT projects, providing financial justification, cost estimates, and ROI analysis.
- Manage the collection, forecasting, and tracking of resources (internal and external) and allocate them to initiatives appropriately.
- Participate in the annual and quarterly investment planning cycle, partnering with team leads to provide guidance and oversight.
- Ensure adherence to allocated budgets and maintain accurate forecasts for Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Monitor and report on project health metrics, ensuring execution within budget and governance activities.
- Act as a strategic partner to our EIT value teams, providing coaching, guidance, and advice.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Concentration in Information Technology, Business, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT portfolio/project management or finance.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple IT projects simultaneously, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Experience in portfolio management, preferably in an IT or technology-related setting, including skills in portfolio planning, prioritization, resource allocation, financial management, and performance tracking.
- Experience in process optimization and continuous improvement, with a focus on simplifying and standardizing complex workflows and automation.
- Experience with data analysis, visualization, and reporting, including working with large data sets and leveraging BI tools to deliver insights.
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting; understanding financial concepts such as ROI analysis, cost estimation, budget monitoring, and business case development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders, including IT teams, executives, project sponsors, and business units.
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
