Working alongside leading engineers and scientists, you'll transform innovative ideas into manufacturing-ready solutions with direct impact on next-generation DRAM products.
In this role, you will lead the development of advanced thin-film processes for future DRAM technologies, driving critical innovations from concept through high-volume manufacturing. You'll collaborate with integration, equipment, materials, and manufacturing teams to solve challenging technical problems, optimize process performance, and enable technology scaling for the next generation of memory products!
Responsibilities:
- Translate DRAM product requirements into scalable, cost‑effective thin‑film process solutions
- Develop, optimize, and characterize thin‑film deposition processes for advanced DRAM technologies
- Identify and resolve process defects, yield issues, and reliability risks using data‑driven methods
- Design and implement DOE, analyze results, and communicate technical recommendations
- Partner with equipment and materials suppliers to evaluate new tools and chemistries
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality control plans, including effective use of statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD or MS or equivalent experience with 3+ years of semiconductor industry experience in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Strong foundation in process science, including reaction engineering, thermodynamics, transport phenomena, or plasma science
- Demonstrated experience designing and analyzing experiments, including DOE
- Proven ability to work independently and collaborate across multi-functional teams
- Demonstrated interest in using AI, machine learning, data science, or digital tools to improve engineering workflows and accelerate innovation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep expertise in thin‑film deposition processes and tool parameter optimization
- Experience supporting DRAM, HPCMOS, and/or EUV‑enabled technologies
- Hands‑on experience with materials and surface characterization techniques such as XPS, AFM, XRD, AES, EBSD, or SIMS
