Job Summary
This Position Is Responsible For Assisting With And Providing Service To The Federal Employee Plan Members Within The Prescribed Territory; For Promoting Enrollment Growth To Active And Retired Federal Employees In The State Of Operations; Assisting With Projects; And For Serving As Liaison Between The Members, Federal Agencies, And Hcsc As The Company Representative, Meet Current And Prospective Members Through Health Fairs, Group Presentations, Educational Seminar, Enrollment Meetings, And State Conventions. Ability And Willingness To Travel Including Overnight Stays, As Needed.Job Description
1. Assist in educating and informing federal employees (both active and retired) and Health Benefits Officers in regard to the Service Benefit Plan through: 1) group presentations; 2) on-site individual claims meetings; 3) pre-retirement seminars; 4) Health Fairs; 5) Open Houses in large defense agencies; 6) training conferences and educational seminars; 7) participation in statewide National Association of Retired Federal Employees conventions.
2. Assist with Open Season activities to ensure an effective program and to meet established national and corporate goals.
3. Assist in identifying the agency needs for service and coordinating with the agency on scheduling of meetings, presentations, etc. Distribute materials, brochures, claim forms, etc. to all agencies.
4. Provide field service to the agencies on claims and enrollment problems, which includes the actual counseling with the subscriber, transmittal of the file, and follow-up efforts. Ensure all problems are effectively resolved.
5. Cultivate and maintain a professional working relationship with the Health Benefits Officers to develop an open door alliance to the respective agencies within the territories assigned. Maintain a credible reputation with Federal Employee Program (FEP) subscribers and prospective enrollees.
6. Establish effective communications and maintain a good working relationship with various internal departments; i.e., FEP claims on problems associated with the incorrect processing of claims, Field Marketing offices on training of the FEP Contract, Membership on questions or problems concerning a subscriber's coverage or enrollment application.
7. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the FEP Contract for interpretation, resource and training purposes.
8. Prepare various activity and status reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
9. Keep databases current.
10. Assist with departmental projects.
11. Responsible for new sales only, service only with add-on sales or combined sales and service for assigned cluster of government accounts.
12. May perform any one or combination of the following duties: 1) Make service call on existing groups to maintain rapport and handle service problems; 2) Participate in renewal activity developing financial strategies and product alternatives; 3) Participate in the appeal process and develops presentation strategies; 4) Make sales calls and perform necessary prospect activity; 5) Develop programs, proposal and strategies; 6) Make educational presentations to groups; 7) Perform enrollments; 8) Select and train Health Improvement Association (HIA) volunteer workers and trains HIA group administrators on necessary functions; 9) Must satisfy established sales, service or sales and service standards to qualify.
13. Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.
14. Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
15. Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
16. Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* 2 years of college or 2 years experience in servicing insurance accounts.
* 2 years experience in marketing or sales involved in insurance accounts.
* Current, valid General Agent Insurance Agent License or obtain General Agent Insurance License within first 3 months.
* Knowledge of insurance accounts, ratings, marketing/sales/or service techniques.
This is a remote position. The territory includes Military Bases (Uniformed Services) across Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois, New Mexico, and Montana. The role is responsible for promoting education and brand awareness of dental, vision, and medical products, with a primary focus on dental and vision. Texas and Oklahoma are the primary markets.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range
$54,500.00 - $81,900.00Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
