Maintenance Technician

Medical Alternatives, Inc. is seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Novi, MI. This is a full-time position offering consistent hours, competitive pay, excellent benefits, and long-term job stability.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Flexibility to work until 5:00 PM when needed
• Occasional weekend and after-hours availability for emergency maintenance

• $20.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Perform general building repairs and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and plumbing issues
• Complete carpentry and finish work, including painting and drywall repairs
• Install and repair flooring as needed
• Perform basic HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting
• Maintain the grounds, including lawn and landscape upkeep
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally
• Participate in occasional emergency, weekend, or after-hours maintenance when required
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has experience in most or all of the following:

• Electrical
• Plumbing
• Carpentry
• Painting, drywall, and general finish work
• Flooring installation and repair
• HVAC maintenance
• Lawn and yard maintenance
• General building maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
