• Planning, directing, creating, and communicating study time-lines
• Gathering input from cross-functional teams and creating plans that help the team produce deliverables on schedule
• Ensuring consistency of study and processes across clinical trials
• Overseeing and resolving operational aspects of clinical trials in conjunction with project teams and in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP), good clinical practice (GCP) and GMP and specific country regulations such as site and vendor selection, preparing clinical trial budgets
• Ensuring study is conducted within trial protocols
• Monitoring progress and following up with team members and line managers when issues develop
• Monitoring time to market and following up budget consumption and costs
• Implementing and preparing the development strategy as outlined by various teams
• May develop recruitment strategy for the trial in program.
• Report to Aquaculture Diagnostics Laboratory Manager.
A Specialist applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education.
