Your New Role

• We are, we need Technical Specialists to help us maintain the quality of new technology projects. You’ll be working with our other teams in Digital Technology, partners and elsewhere to enhance the value of our integrated solutions.
• Supporting our existing MQ based integration platforms and services, including reporting, and managing incidents, thus ensuring our services are ‘Always on’ and delivering to our bankers and customers. The governance of our partners needs to be maintained and it’s the quality assurance and technical governance we need to transform our core banking platforms.
• We’re looking for someone with experience and capability, most importantly in IBM MQ  and Unix support. Your operational expertise will display evidence of your exposure to mission-critical integration/middleware support and a strong understanding of how applications work, what the IBM MQ product is and how it is best configured in the NAB environment.
• IBM MQ Administration and Support
• MQ Management and Operations
• Application Management
• Governance of and involvement in Design, Development & Implementation of MQ based solutions

What Will You Bring

• 5-8 years Technology experience with application development and / or support roles
• Capability in 24/7 support of IBM MQ (on Linux, Windows and Mainframe), with proven ability to perform under pressure.
• Strong time management skills with proven ability to communicate well, actively listen and support the team members when required.
• Operational expertise and exposure to mission-critical integration/middleware solutions support.
• Technical knowledge and experience in, Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) as well as Jenkins, Terraform and Ansible are a big plus.
• Experience in Java/J2EE, XML, WebSphere, Eclipse, IBM DataPower Gateway, SQL and Oracle databases are a big plus.
