Resupply.Planner

Ketjen is hiring for a Resupply Planner. This position is effective supply planning activities for importing products manufactured by Ketjen in other regions, as well as purchased from third party suppliers, to ensure regional inventory that satisfies forecast demand as well as target stock levels.

Accountabilities     

• Manage SAP stock transport and purchase orders to meet forecasted demand
• Balance constraints (product availability, lead times, transit times) to plan imports meeting regional demand
• Develop and implement import procedures to ensure products and documents comply with regional requirements

Responsibilities           

• Conduct import resupply planning for ordering of finished products from other overseas Ketjen entities and third-party suppliers
• Maintain inventory target levels by following customer orders/forecast and placing resupply orders with respect to lead times
• Actively maintain planning schedules in Ketjen's Enterprise Software system (SAP) to ensure data integrity
• Work with Business to manage allocation of product in situations where demand exceeds available supply

• Participate in order fulfillment process improvements by identifying and documenting failures in the incident-reporting database.  Timely investigation to identify root cause, with implementation of sustainable corrective actions to improve

·Attend Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)/Master Production Scheduler meetings

• Participate in Order/Opportunity Launch meeting process to prepare for the onboard of successful order fulfillment processes for new products and customers
• Involvement with Third party warehouse partners in region ranging from warehouse issues to inventory management and reconciliation

Key Competencies

• Language

Fluent in English and Japanese

• 1-2 years of similar experience is advantageous
• Good IT skills (MS Office, SAP experience is an advantage)
