Description
Bowser Collision Center is looking for an experienced Collision Repair Technician to join our team in Jefferson Hills. As a Collision Repair Technician, you will perform structural and non-structural repairs, prepare vehicles for refinishing, and ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and dealership quality standards.
Essential Responsibilities
- Repair damaged vehicles according to repair estimates and manufacturer specifications.
- Perform structural and non-structural body repairs.
- Complete body panel replacement, alignment, and fitment.
- Prepare vehicles and replacement parts for refinishing, including paint preparation and cut-in work.
- Remove, install, and align body panels, trim, moldings, and related components.
- Perform mechanical repairs related to collision damage when necessary.
- Inspect completed repairs to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all OSHA, manufacturer, and Bowser safety policies and procedures.
- Stay current on industry training, repair techniques, and evolving collision repair technology.
- Work collaboratively with estimators, painters, and other team members to ensure timely, high-quality repairs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of collision repair experience required.
- Experience with paint preparation, part preparation, and cut-in work.
- Mechanical repair experience preferred.
- Airbag and supplemental restraint system (SRS) experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and dedication to outstanding customer service.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate collision repair tools and equipment.
