• Review and provide technical direction on environmental work plans, investigation reports, monitoring reports, remediation strategies, feasibility studies, and consultant deliverables.

• Manage environmental consultants, including scope development, procurement support, scheduling, budget tracking, invoice review, and performance oversight.

• Lead implementation and continual improvement of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), monitoring programs, inspections, and corrective actions required under California's Industrial General Permit.

• Maintain and coordinate updates to Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans and associated spill prevention programs.

• Manage environmental project budgets, forecasts, and long-term spending plans.

• Collaborate with operations, facilities, legal, engineering, finance, consultants, and external stakeholders to achieve environmental compliance and remediation objectives.

• Support environmental due diligence, risk assessment, and strategic planning efforts associated with site operations and environmental liabilities.

Top Candidates Will Have

• Experience serving as the primary liaison with the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), or other environmental regulatory agencies.

• Experience managing complex environmental restoration projects involving groundwater remediation, vapor intrusion investigations, corrective measures evaluations, or long-term monitoring programs.

• Knowledge of California Industrial General Permit requirements, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), stormwater monitoring programs, and Best Management Practices.

• Experience maintaining and implementing Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) programs.

• Ability to critically evaluate groundwater data, conceptual site models, investigation findings, and remediation alternatives to support strategic decision-making.

• Experience leading consultant procurement efforts, contract management, and environmental project budgeting.

• Knowledge of environmental data management systems, regulatory reporting platforms, and environmental recordkeeping requirements.

• A formal degree in environmental engineering or science related technical field.
