Description
Shadow Hills Country Club is looking for a reliable, experienced Brunch Cook to join our kitchen team. Previous brunch cooking experience is required. This position is best suited for someone who is comfortable working a steady brunch service and can consistently deliver quality food while maintaining speed and organization.
Reliability is essential. Our brunch service depends on having a dependable cook in the kitchen every scheduled day. We need someone who is punctual, prepared, and committed to showing up consistently for their scheduled shifts.
Schedule
- Thursday: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Saturday: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM
- Sunday: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM
30 hours per week (Negotiable)
Requirements
- Previous brunch cooking experience is required
- Strong attendance and reliability are required
- Proven ability to work a busy brunch or breakfast service
- Comfortable working efficiently under pressure
- Strong understanding of brunch preparation, timing, and execution
- Ability to consistently follow recipes and maintain food quality
- Punctual, organized, and prepared for each shift
- Ability to work independently and as part of a kitchen team
- Food-handler certification is a required
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook brunch menu items to established recipes and quality standards
- Execute eggs, breakfast meats, pancakes, sandwiches, and other brunch items with consistency and speed
- Complete prep and ensure the kitchen is fully stocked before service
- Maintain proper timing and communication throughout brunch service
- Keep your station clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to provide an excellent member and guest experience
- Assist with cleaning and general kitchen duties as needed
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has hands-on brunch cooking experience and a proven track record of reliability. You should be comfortable walking into a busy brunch service, knowing your station, staying organized, and getting food out consistently and efficiently.
Compensation: $18–$24/hour, based on experience.
