Position Summary:
This job is responsible for capturing and refining business or system requirements that may involve a software change. Key responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyzing problems, capturing requirements, creating solutions, solving problems either manually or through software, and providing subject-matter expertise on products to support scope and requirement decisions. Job expectations include collaborating with project stakeholders to analyze and confirm requirements, creating, analyzing, and improving processes and writing user and technical stories.The Intake Coordinator function serves as the front door for new work entering DCRS and is a critical link between business demand and execution. This role facilitates client engagement, coordinates intake and estimation activities, drives prioritization discussions, supports annual planning and funding processes, and ensures initiatives move efficiently from concept through funding approval and roadmap placement. The function also serves as a key liaison across business partners, technology teams, architecture, finance, and portfolio managem
Responsibilities:
- Understands stakeholder needs to help envision and create a solution to solve a problem
- Supports cost and benefit analysis to align technology solutions to business strategy
- Gathers and catalogs functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests
- Identifies the impact of modifications and enhancements to applications and assists with identifying integration points and the end-to-end solution design
- Assists users and development teams in application testing and troubleshooting, and may help with test planning and configuring test solutions to validate functional and system needs
- Documents processes, procedures and workflows for technology as needed
- Accept client assignments and drive client to completion with minimal external support for technical client base implementing web-based service calls to data repositories
- Drives coordination efforts for activities involving Client Assessment, Client Provisioning and Client Onboarding, including but not limited to – Design, Development and Integration, Client review and acceptance Facilitate following design and workflow sessions (as needed):
- Independent client / DCRS design approval sessions
- Client / DCRS knowledge sessions
- DCRS internal design review sessions (i.e. ASR review)
- Testing and Triage efforts, Execution and roll-out
- Administration of the Onboarding Workbook for assigned clients by applying SME technical knowledge of DCRS technology services and events
- Work closely with Client development and testing resource owners to help align DCRS to SIT, UAT and Release Defect Triage support.
- Leverage SOAP UI Tool in triage and testing support
Required Qualifications:
Client Engagement Coordination:
- 7+ years of job related experience required.
- Work with client to identify requirements, coordinate details for impact analysis and present for sizing.
- Gather estimates and sizing assumptions and present and negotiate with client.
- Engage architecture as needed for solution identification.
- Manage from request initiation thru funding, prioritization and hand-off for implementation.
