## What you’ll do:
The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with Eaton standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements. The role leads quality assurance, quality control, customer quality, supplier quality, and continuous improvement activities to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Quality Management System
Lead and maintain the site's Quality Management System in compliance with ISO9001 and relevant Eaton quality requirements.
Ensure effective implementation of quality policies, procedures, work instructions and quality documentation.
Coordinate internal and external audits and drive closure of audit findings.
Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Customer Quality Management
Act as the primary quality interface with customers.
Lead customer complaint investigations and corrective actions using problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, A3, and Root Cause Analysis.
Drive improvement actions to reduce customer complaints and improve customer satisfaction.
Support customer audits and quality reviews.
- Supplier Quality Management
Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to improve supplier quality performance.
Monitor supplier quality metrics and drive corrective actions for supplier-related issues.
Support supplier qualification, audits and development activities.
- Manufacturing Quality Control
Establish and monitor quality control plans, inspection standards, and process controls.
Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Lead containment, corrective action, and preventive action activities for non-conforming products.
Drive reduction of scrap, rework, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
- Continuous Improvement
Lead continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma initiatives related to quality.
Utilize quality tools including SPC, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, DOE, APQP, and PPAP where applicable.
Support productivity and operational excellence projects by ensuring quality requirements are integrated into process improvements.
To develop testing team multi skills and improve testing method to increase testing efficiency
- Leadership & People Development
Lead, coach and develop the Quality team.
Establish department goals and performance metrics aligned with business objectives.
Foster cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR.
Build a strong culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
## Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 8 years of quality management experience in the electrical manufacturing industry, preferably in power distribution, circuit protection, or related electrical products.
- Experience in multinational companies is preferred.
- Experience supporting customer audits and managing customer quality issues.
- Strong knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Proficient in quality tools including:APQP/PPAP/PFMEA/Control Plan/SPC/MSA/8D Problem Solving/Root Cause Analysis
- Familiar with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Strong data analysis and statistical problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence across functions and drive organizational change.
- Results-oriented with strong execution capability.
