Job Description:

The HR Business Partner serves as the primary HR contact for managers and employees, providing day-to-day support across employee relations, performance management, HR operations, talent processes, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partnership

• Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, employee development, and HR policies.

• Support employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives.

• Provide guidance on workforce changes, promotions, transfers, and organizational updates.

• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and SOPs.

Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations

• Manage onboarding, transfers, promotions, contract changes, and offboarding activities.

• Maintain employee records and HR data in Workday and other HR systems.

• Coordinate probation reviews, background checks, and employee documentation.

• Partner with Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to deliver HR services.

Compliance, Benefits & Programs

• Handle employee relations cases, grievances, and disciplinary matters.

• Ensure compliance with China labor laws and company policies.

• Administer employee benefits, wellness programs, training records, and HR communications.

• Manage HR vendors and support audits, reporting, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2-3 years in an HR Business Partner role.

• Experience supporting employee relations, HR operations, and performance management.

• Knowledge of China labor laws and HR practices.

• Experience with Workday or similar HRIS systems.

• Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Fluency in both spoken and written Mandarin and English required.
