The Co-Manufacturing Supply Chain Manager will lead end-to-end Supply Chain management for Quaker co-manufacturing operations across Malaysia and the Philippines (total 4 co-mans), ensuring supply continuity, 98%+ service level, and effective co-man performance across 10 markets. The role provides overall governance of co-man operations, including capacity and materials planning, forecast alignment, inventory control, NPI/label transitions, service performance, and issue resolution.
The role also leads regional oats supply strategy and planning across Quaker co-mans, including management of multiple oats sources, while driving continuous improvement, cost and process optimization, and strong cross-functional collaboration with Commercial, Procurement, PD, Quality and Project teams. Additionally, the role will also provide Supply Chain support for any new co-manufacturing operations established outside Malaysia and the Philippines, including setup, onboarding and integration into the regional supply network
Responsibilities
What you will be responsible for:
1. Co-Man Operations & Supply Planning
- Lead end-to-end supply chain operations for Quaker co-manufacturers across Malaysia and the Philippines, ensuring 98%+ service level and reliable supply to all markets.
- Manage order fulfilment, production planning, capacity, shipment execution and forecast accuracy across multiple co-manufacturing sites.
- Lead regular operational reviews with co-manufacturers to monitor performance, resolve issues and drive timely corrective actions.
- Review market forecasts and identify supply risks, constraints and opportunities, including contingency plans where required.
- Manage co-man capacity against demand (C2D) and provide early escalation of potential supply risks.
- Coordinate raw material and packaging material planning with co-mans, suppliers and market units to maintain healthy inventory buffers and uninterrupted production.
- Establish and maintain effective ways of working and governance with new and existing co-manufacturers.
- Ensure co-man service level scorecards, inventory reports and operational data are maintained accurately and submitted on time.
2. Co-Man Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with co-manufacturers to improve service, lead time, capacity flexibility and operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement productivity and process improvement opportunities across the co-man network.
- Partner with Procurement, R&D, Marketing, GP and other functional teams on supplier qualification, product trials and productivity initiatives.
- Ensure reliable supplier performance and lead resolution of operational issues and commercial disputes.
- Support supply network optimization, capacity expansion and lead-time reduction initiatives.
3. Oats Supply Strategy & Capacity Planning
- Lead monthly oats supply strategy and allocation planning across Quaker co-manufacturers.
- Consolidate oats demand and consumption requirements and develop appropriate inventory buffer strategies to mitigate supply risks.
- Secure supply confirmation with GP and Quaker oats plant and develop alternative sourcing strategies where supply gaps are identified.
- Manage short- and long-term co-man capacity planning for multiple co-man sites, aligned with demand and business growth.
- Support development of regional supply network strategies to improve supply resilience and flexibility.
4. New Product Introduction & Project Management
- Lead Supply Chain activities for new product introduction, innovation and product / artwork transition projects across Asia Foods markets.
- Partner with regional cross-functional teams to ensure production readiness, material availability and seamless integration of new products into the replenishment process.
- Lead artwork and packaging transitions, including material run-down planning, to meet project timelines and minimize material write-off.
- Coordinate with co-mans, suppliers, customers and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective shipment execution.
- Negotiate and align with co-manufacturers and suppliers on minimum run quantities, lead times and operational requirements.
- Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) initiatives across the co-man network.
5. SNOE/SNOP, Forecast and Order Management
- Lead the SNOE/SNOP agenda for the co-man portfolio, consolidating demand and supply inputs, highlighting key risks and constraints, and driving alignment on replenishment and supply actions.
- Consolidate and process market orders, monitor order fulfilment and ensure production and shipment timelines are achieved.
- Drive forecast accuracy tracking and proactively identify forecast and supply risks.
- Ensure co-manufacturers execute production according to market-requested timelines and support timely month-end closing.
- Maintain accurate service level, inventory, capacity and operational performance reporting.
- Provide data and analysis to Sector and Global teams as required.
- Provide guidance to Supply Chain Assistants on order tracking, shipment coordination and day-to-day co-man operations.
Qualifications
What you will need to have:
- Minimum 7-8 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Demand/Supply Planning or related functions, preferably with co-manufacturing / FMCG experience.
- Proven experience in co-manufacturer / supplier management, including performance management, capacity planning, service level management and issue resolution.
- Strong experience in SNOE/SNOP, demand & supply planning, order management and forecast alignment.
- Experience in managing New Product Introduction (NPI), product transitions, line trials and commercialization projects.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify supply risks and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving supply issues.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Commercial, Manufacturing, Procurement, R&D, Quality and regional teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple priorities and deliver projects within agreed timelines.
- Good understanding of capacity planning, inventory management, supply risk mitigation and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
- Working knowledge of trade agreements, tariff structures and cross-border supply / import-export processes is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; strong data analysis and reporting capability.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently in a complex, multi-market environment.
- Ability to work effectively across different cultures and geographies.
