At Avon, we're looking for an experienced and motivated RTR Supervisor to lead our Record to Report team and help deliver high-quality financial reporting across our CELL markets. This is an exciting opportunity to combine people leadership, technical accounting expertise, and process improvement in a dynamic, international environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial results, maintaining strong internal controls, supporting audits, and developing a high-performing team while contributing to the continuous evolution of our finance operations.Key responsibilities:
- Supervising and supporting RTR Accountants across multiple accounting areas, including fixed assets, revenue, inventory, payroll, and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Managing the month-end close calendar and ensuring all reporting deadlines are met with accuracy and quality
- Reviewing and approving balance sheet account reconciliations
- Overseeing fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and related journal entries
- Reviewing revenue and cost accounting activities, accruals, reporting, and submissions
- Supervising inventory and obsolescence accounting, including provision calculations and cost updates
- Reviewing bank statement processing and account reconciliations
- Ensuring accurate lease accounting and IFRS 16 compliance
- Owning and monitoring internal controls within the RTR process area and supporting audit requirements
- Preparing quarterly certification commentary and participating in certification reviews
- Acting as the primary escalation point for finance stakeholders, Chief Accountants, Heads of Finance, and auditors
- Driving process improvements, automation opportunities, and standardisation initiatives
- Supporting statutory audit activities and coordinating with external auditors
- Conducting regular one-to-one meetings, setting objectives, providing feedback, and supporting the growth and development of team members
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting, ideally within a multinational organisation or Shared Service Centre environment
- Previous experience in a supervisory, team lead, or senior accounting position
- Strong understanding of Record to Report (RTR) processes
- Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Knowledge of IFRS and related accounting standards
- Experience working with ERP systems such as JDE/E1 or similar platforms
- Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching, developing, and motivating others
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Confidence working with stakeholders across different functions and locations
- Experience working in multicultural and international environments
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to maintain a high level of quality and accuracy in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
