Position: Guest Service Representative
Reports To: Campus Director
How You Complete the Organization: To make the human body work, there are many parts that we depend on. To achieve the greatest performance is when we have all parts working optimally. But the reality of the world is the human body is not always 100% healthy. When we are injured or ill in any of the body parts, the whole body has to adjust and operate a bit differently to continue to move forward. Therefore, we must recognize sometimes we cannot always have everything 100% operational, so the focus is to continue to grow and get better. As a GSR, we see your role as the “Eyes and Ears” of the organization. You aware of all the moving parts of entire guest and student experience. You are able to see and hear the reality of the front lines of our business. If we need to know what is happening in our business, you are who we turn to. This is a very important part of the organization that we depend on.
Objective: Provide future professionals with guests to closely simulate salon/spa environment so future professionals can graduate, become successfully employed in the Cosmetology/Esthetician/Nail Tech Industry, and enhance the industry image and reputation.
What You Will Do:
- Greets each guest and future professional with warm sincerity, embraces them with class and energy, and leaves them with a positive lasting impression.
- Be friendly, polite, courteous, and helpful to all callers, guests, future professionals and staff.
- Conveys image and taste level appropriate for position and the beauty industry.
- Answer incoming calls in a timely manner, preferable by the 3rd ring at maximum and be courteous to all callers.
- Oversee/maintain lobby areas to ensure Evergreen standards are followed.
- Accurately process all transactions to ensure cashiering procedures are followed.
- Basic knowledge of available retail products in order to educate guests.
- Effectively recommend membership programs, home care recommendations and follow up visits.
- General knowledge of Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
- Effectively set appointments.
- Able to multi-task and effectively problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain and manage client information.
- Create welcoming first and lasting impression for prospective students
- Capable of opening and/or closing as assigned.
- Management of image of culture on Campus Social Media pages
