Job Summary

The Senior Finance Transformation Analyst supports strategic finance system initiatives while providing ongoing operational support for finance applications. This role serves as a bridge between Finance, Technology, Shared Services, and business stakeholders to drive successful implementation, stabilization, and continuous improvement of finance systems and processes.

The role is responsible for supporting project delivery activities including requirements gathering, testing, data validation, training, and deployment readiness, while also serving as a key resource for finance system support, issue resolution, and user enablement following implementation.

This position requires a strong understanding of finance processes, ERP platforms, financial reporting, and problem-solving techniques to ensure business continuity and successful adoption of technology solutions.

The role requires flexibility to work in a shift-based environment, including occasional evening hours, to provide support across multiple global regions, including Europe, APAC, and the Americas. Working hours may vary depending on business needs, project activities, and support coverage requirements.

Responsibilities

Finance Transformation & System Implementation (60%)

• Support finance transformation initiatives including ERP, Central Finance (CFIN), consolidation, planning, reporting, and analytics solutions.
• Partner with Finance and Technology teams to document business requirements and translate business needs into functional solutions.
• Participate in process design workshops and future-state operating model development.
• Lead and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), integration testing, and regression testing activities.
• Develop test scripts, validate results, document defects, and coordinate issue resolution.
• Support data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities during deployments.
• Assist with cutover planning, deployment readiness, and hypercare activities.
• Develop training documentation, user guides, and knowledge articles to support change adoption.
• Facilitate stakeholder communications and provide regular project status updates.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes through automation, standardization, and technology enablement.

Finance Systems Support & Help Desk (40%)

• Serve as a primary support resource for finance systems and applications.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve user-reported issues using established service management processes.
• Monitor and manage support tickets to ensure timely resolution and service-level compliance.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring system and process issues.
• Coordinate with Finance, IT, Master Data, and external support teams to resolve complex issues.
• Support financial close activities by ensuring finance systems remain operational and issues are prioritized accordingly.
• Monitor support trends and recommend process or system improvements.
• Maintain support documentation, knowledge repositories, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist in the governance and maintenance of finance master data and reporting structures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 4-7+ years of experience in:

• • Finance operations
  • Finance transformation
  • ERP implementation
  • Business systems analysis
  • Finance technology support
• Experience participating in large-scale ERP or financial systems implementations.
• Experience supporting finance applications in a production environment.
• Understanding of end-to-end finance processes including:
  • Record-to-Report
  • Procure-to-Pay
  • Order-to-Cash
  • Fixed Assets
  • Financial Close and Reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Central Finance (CFIN), Group Reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar finance technologies.
• Experience supporting global finance organizations or shared service environments.
• Knowledge of finance master data structures and governance processes.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems.
• Experience with Power BI or other reporting and analytics tools.
• Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

  Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.      

Other Compensation

This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
