Job Description

As a Security Officer Personnel Screening  in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and materials; monitoring access points; and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related screening protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or belongings in accordance with established access-control procedures and applicable site policies.
• Monitor screening equipment and access points, report irregularities, and document screening-related activities as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
