EH238 - Live-In Housekeeper - Dubai

Overview

A private couple living in Dubai is seeking a professional, experienced English speaking housekeeper to care for their villa.

 

This is a full-time, live-in position and the schedule will be 6-days, with approximately 12-hours per day.

 

Accommodation is provided on their property, with an external entrance and will contain all home comforts.

 

The couple frequently travel and will rely on the housekeeper to maintain the property in their absence, alongside caring for their cat.

 

The couple are open to relocating a candidate from Europe and the position is to start by the end of October, early November.

 

Responsibilities

General housekeeping responsibilities for the interior of the property including but not limited to -

• Dusting
• Mopping & vacuuming
• Cleaning bathrooms
• Ensuring the kitchen is clean and ready for use
• Cleaning out the fridge, oven and microwave  
• Emptying bins and taking the garbage out
• Laundry for bedding and towels only (clothing is sent out for laundry and dry cleaning)
• Receive laundry from external company and remove plastic covering before placing in closets
• Cooking is not required but occasional assistance with preparing vegetables and meats would be appreciated
• Feeding their cat 3x per day
• Report any maintenance issues to the principal's

Requirements

• Must be trustworthy with excellent references
• Previous experience working in a private household
• Fluent and clear English speaking
• Strong communication skills
• Must be comfortable around their cat
• Comfortable overseeing the property in the principal’s absence when they travel
