Job Title: Associate Dentist – Private Practice
Location: Suburbs of Columbia, SC
Job Type: Part-Time, 1-2 days per week
Salary / Compensation: $800 to $1,000 per day guarantee (based on experience) OR 31% of collections with ZERO lab fee deductions
About the Opportunity
An established, highly respected practice in the Columbia suburbs is seeking an experienced part-time Associate Dentist to step into an existing schedule.
Unlike DSO environments driven by corporate metrics, daily targets, and high turnover, this independent practice focuses on patient-first care, sustainable growth, and long-term career progression.
Position Highlights
- True Clinical Autonomy: Complete control over treatment planning with no corporate oversight, forced procedure targets, or mandated labs.
- Immediate Full Schedule & Earning Potential: Direct transition into a productive schedule in a practice on track for $1.3M+ in annual production.
- Higher Net Compensation: Earn 31% of collections with no lab deductions subtracted from pay, backed by an initial daily guarantee of $800 to $1,000.
- Work-Life Balance: Office hours are Monday through Thursday. No evening hours and no weekends.
- Strong Patient Base: Predominantly in-network PPO and cash-pay patients. The practice does not participate in Medicaid.
- Modern Equipment & Facilities: Modern facility equipped with an iTero digital scanner and digital X-rays.
- Experienced Support Team: Fully supported by a skilled team consisting of 3 hygienists and 2 dedicated dental assistants to ensure high daily efficiency.

Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality general dentistry to patients in a comfortable, modern setting.
- Perform comprehensive clinical exams, diagnose oral health conditions, and formulate individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver core general dentistry procedures, including restorative work, crown and bridge, prosthetics, and basic operative care.
- Proficiency in molar endodontics and surgical extractions is a strong plus.
Qualifications & Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited US dental school.
- Active South Carolina dental license (or eligible to obtain prior to start date).
- Clinical experience required.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to building long-term relationships with patients and staff.
