· Lead purposeful sales calls to secure orders, gain new placements, expand distribution, activate promotions, resolve out-of-stocks, and improve merchandising.
· Monitor inventory, support new-product placements and stock rotation, and address availability or execution gaps during account visits.
· Maintain clean, current, and properly installed point-of-sale and printed materials.
· Record orders and update account information accurately, including customer needs, competitive observations, placement status, pricing or discount requirements, and follow-up commitments.
· Use sales data and market insight to identify product trends, evaluate account performance, and refine territory priorities.
· Participate in account reviews, proposals, presentations, sales projects, meetings, training, and winery or distillery tours.
What Success Looks Like
· Prioritizing high-value accounts and growth opportunities.
· Executing each customer call with a clear sales or service objective.
· Protecting product availability and in-market presentation.
· Tracking progress against quota, placements, and account commitments.
· Following through promptly and documenting results accurately.
Qualifications
· High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
· Current, valid driver’s license.
· Previous sales experience preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
· Strong communication, analytical, computer, and discount-calculation skills.
· Ability to develop strong product and market knowledge and communicate value, promotions, and relevant trends clearly.
· Self-directed, goal-oriented, assertive, organized, and effective in a fast-paced environment.
Work Requirements
· Regular travel throughout the assigned territory.
· Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
· Ability to perform computer work and physical duties that include walking, bending, standing, and routinely lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 60 pounds.
About the Opportunity
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a territory, represent a diverse beverage portfolio, and translate strong customer partnerships into measurable sales growth. Candidates who thrive in the field, enjoy building relationships, and bring discipline to planning and follow-through are encouraged to apply.
