  • Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging risks and assess their potential impact on the Group.
  • Provide risk input into strategic initiatives, new business proposals and change programmes, ensuring material risks are appropriately identified and managed.
  • Support the management of risk events, issues and control weaknesses, including the development and monitoring of remediation actions.
  • Produce clear and insightful risk reporting for senior management and governance committees, covering risk exposures, events, issues, trends and remediation activity.
  • Support business continuity planning, crisis management and associated testing activities.
  • Contribute to prudential risk activities, including stress testing, capital and liquidity adequacy assessments and relevant regulatory submissions.
  • Promote a strong risk culture by increasing awareness and understanding of effective risk management practices across the organisation.

  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing demands.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with strong problem-solving skills and sound commercial judgement.
