Job Overview
The Lead Specialist, Women's Health is responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of AltaMed’s Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP) and pregnancy support services. The Lead Specialist supports the development of initiatives designed to exceed targets, strategic goals, and action plans. The Lead supports patient experience improvement strategies, clinical quality, and financial sustainability in addition to provider and staff engagement. The Lead supports the standardization of CPSP workflows at the Site level and collaborates with key departments such as Nursing, Quality Performance Improvement, Patient Access, and Patient Financial Services to optimize new hire training on CPSP workflows. The Lead supports Site leaders with the management and improvement of CPHW performance and supports Women’s Health Management with all CPSP policies, procedures, and process improvement projects.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration preferred.
Medical Assistant certificate required.
Experience in an outpatient care setting required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a health care setting, with at least 1 of those years in an OB/GYN or women’s health clinical environment.
Experience with EHR systems like NextGen, EPIC, Cerner, etc. required.
CPHW/ FPHW required within 90 days of hire.
A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred.
