What you'll do...

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

•Assist Maintenance Technicians with the repair, servicing, and maintenance of equipment. •Perform preventive and basic maintenance and repairs on: • Production equipment • Lift trucks and material-handling equipment • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems • Dock equipment • Electronic and electrical equipment • HVAC units •Building facilities and grounds •Maintain and repair building facilities, including plumbing, construction, and painting. • Operate material-handling equipment, battery-powered equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment according to established procedures. • Clean, inspect, and maintain equipment, tools, work areas, facilities, and grounds. • Assist with the proper handling, use, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials and waste, including cleaning chemicals, in accordance with company policies and procedures. • Complete work orders, maintenance records, logs, and other written or computer-based documentation accurately and according to established procedures. • Complete assigned work and priorities by: • Following applicable policies and procedures • Using available data and resources • Identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations • Completing tasks safely and effectively • Communicating progress and relevant information • Collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners • Recommending solutions for improvement opportunities • Adapting to changes, challenges, and feedback • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. • Implement related action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply company standards in daily business practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $27.85 - $34.85* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
