Description
Responsibilities
- Lead Financial Governance across the Group and ensure compliance with accounting policies, reporting standards, and governance requirements.
- Own and maintain Group accounting policies, procedures, and the Accounting & Reporting Manual.
- Act as the subject matter expert for IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER, and complex technical accounting matters.
- Monitor regulatory developments and coordinate the implementation of new accounting and reporting requirements.
- Lead the assessment of complex transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and financing arrangements.
- Oversee impairment testing, significant accounting judgments, estimates, and accounting position papers.
- Partner with finance teams, auditors, and key stakeholders to ensure consistent application of accounting policies and successful audit execution.
- Drive continuous audit and financial governance improvements through data analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) dashboards, user training, and reporting insights.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Swiss CPA qualification is required.
- Minimum five years of experience in Group Finance, Financial Governance, Audit, or Accounting within a complex corporate environment.
- Deep understanding of financial governance principles, internal controls, and valuation methodologies.
- Profound practical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Swiss GAAP FER.
- Experience with SAP ERP (S/4HANA and/or ECC); experience with OneStream is beneficial.
- Proven ability to work effectively across functions, build strong stakeholder relationships, and successfully drive initiatives through implementation.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English is required.
