As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Behavioral Response in Hopewell, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Healthcare Security Professional, supporting a hospital environment through visible presence, routine patrols, access control, and responsive assistance during security-related incidents. You will help maintain a welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff while communicating professionally and responding to sensitive situations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and response activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals as required.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
