Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Reception in ALEXANDRIA, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and assist tenants, visitors, and guests with professionalism. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and contractor activity in accordance with established site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and document incidents, observations, and patrol findings in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
