CSR Programme Delivery Lead – FTC (Ryder Cup and DP World Tour)
Wentworth Based | Full-Time | Maternity Cover
Make an Impact Beyond the Fairway
The European Tour Group is one of the world's leading golf organisations. We are responsible for the DP World Tour, HotelPlanner Tour and Staysure Legends Tour, and alongside the PGA of America, we co-organise golf's greatest team competition, the Ryder Cup.
At the DP World Tour, we're committed to creating memorable sporting experiences while leaving a lasting positive impact on the communities, environments and destinations we visit around the world.
Through Golf for Good, the European Tour Group's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, and Beyond the Fairway, Ryder Cup Europe's CSR and legacy programme, we work alongside host venues, partners, charities and local communities to deliver meaningful initiatives that drive positive change.
We're now looking for a CSR Programme Delivery Lead to help shape, deliver and enhance these programmes across the DP World Tour and Ryder Cup Europe.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project or account management professional with a passion for sustainability, community impact and major sporting events to play a key role in delivering programmes that create lasting legacies both on and off the golf course.
The Role
As CSR Programme Delivery Lead, you will lead the planning, management and delivery of the Golf for Good and Beyond the Fairway programmes, coordinating multiple projects and workstreams across the DP World Tour and Ryder Cup Europe portfolios.
Working closely with teams across Marketing, Commercial, Championship Management, Procurement, Finance, Digital, Content, HR, Strategy and Partnerships, you'll turn ambitious ideas into impactful initiatives that support our commitments to:
- Environmental Responsibility
- Community Impact
- Diversity, Inclusion & Health
- Sustainable Event Delivery
- Legacy & Charitable Giving
You'll act as the central point of coordination between internal teams, agencies, external partners, charities, governing bodies and senior stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered effectively from concept through to execution, measurement and reporting.
This role is based at our Wentworth headquarters and requires a minimum of three days per week in the office, alongside regular UK, Ireland and international travel throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities
Programme & Project Delivery
- Lead the delivery of Golf for Good and Beyond the Fairway initiatives across the DP World Tour and Ryder Cup Europe.
- Manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives, budgets and timelines.
- Oversee project planning, activation delivery, stakeholder engagement and post-event reporting.
- Ensure appropriate project management processes and governance frameworks are followed across all initiatives.
- Manage programme budgets, forecasting, reconciliation and financial reporting.
Community, Charity & Legacy
- Manage charitable donation programmes across DP World Tour tournaments.
- Support the delivery of community engagement and grassroots initiatives at events.
- Lead Ryder Cup Europe legacy frameworks and ensure opportunities are embedded across event planning.
- Manage the Ryder Cup Legacy & Community Fund process, including stakeholder coordination and judging support.
- Coordinate charitable requests and ballot processes linked to Ryder Cup Europe events.
Sustainability & Environmental Responsibility
- Lead relationships with GEO Foundation and other key sustainability partners.
- Drive engagement across the Tour and Ryder Cup to identify and deliver sustainable event initiatives.
- Coordinate sustainability forums and knowledge-sharing opportunities across key markets.
- Support environmental and nature-focused activations at selected events.
- Oversee carbon measurement, reporting and related sustainability requirements across Tour and Ryder Cup activities.
- Ensure key operational teams remain informed on sustainability initiatives, activations and reporting requirements.
Diversity, Inclusion & Health
- Support the delivery of inclusive community engagement programmes and grassroots activations.
- Collaborate with charities, NGOs and community partners to maximise impact.
- Provide support for Ryder Cup Europe Golf for the Disabled (G4D) initiatives and related projects.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Support commercial discussions with partners, prospects and government bodies where required.
- Create compelling proposals, presentations and reports to communicate progress, impact and programme outcomes.
- Manage project reporting and ensure accurate data collection and evaluation across initiatives.
About You
We're looking for an organised, collaborative and confident project professional who thrives in a fast-paced international sporting environment and is passionate about creating meaningful impact.
You'll bring:
- Experience working on major sporting events or large-scale international projects.
- Strong project management, planning and organisational skills.
- Knowledge or experience of CSR, sustainability, ESG or community impact programmes.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Confidence engaging and influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally.
- Experience creating high-quality proposals, presentations and impact reports.
- Proven experience at Senior Account Manager, Account Director or equivalent level.
- At least four years' experience delivering sponsorship, account, project or event management programmes within sport, events or related sectors.
- An interest in golf would be beneficial but is not essential.
