Fitness Center Concierge – JLL

What this job involves:

The Fitness Center Concierge plays a vital role in delivering a safe, clean, and welcoming fitness environment for building occupants and members. This position is responsible for daily facility upkeep, equipment safety monitoring, supply management, and member service, ensuring the fitness center operates smoothly and reflects JLL's commitment to exceptional workplace experiences. Through consistent attention to hygiene, safety, and member satisfaction, the Fitness Center Concierge directly supports JLL's broader mission of creating healthy, high-performing environments for clients and tenants.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Open the facility each shift by activating TVs and music systems, checking climate control, confirming emergency exits are clear, and verifying emergency contact information is posted.
• Perform ongoing sanitizing of high-touch surfaces, mirrors, workout mats, and locker room areas, and monitor restrooms for cleanliness and supply levels.
• Manage towel and paper product inventory, including refilling dispensers, restocking clean towels during peak hours, and coordinating laundry collection and sorting.
• Conduct visual inspections of gym equipment and weights, test safety mechanisms such as emergency stop buttons, and confirm equipment is properly spaced and organized.
• File Work Orders with management for any facility damage, plumbing issues, or broken equipment, and report lighting or ventilation problems immediately.
• Enforce gym dress code and safety policies in a friendly, professional manner, redirecting unsafe behavior as needed.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies or accidents, completing required documentation the same day.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout each shift.

• Capability to regularly lift 50+ pounds of gym equipment, weights, or laundry bags.

• Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.

• Comfort enforcing facility rules and addressing member behavior respectfully.

• Strict reliability and adherence to the scheduled shift (Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM).

• Willingness to complete manual cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the day.

• Ability to follow emergency protocols and complete incident documentation accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in hospitality or customer service environments.

• Basic familiarity with gym equipment or fitness center operations.

• Experience with inventory tracking or supply ordering processes.

• General understanding of cleaning protocols and chemical safety handling.

• Comfort using basic facility management or Work Order reporting systems.

Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
