Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol Customer Service in Clearwater, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic retail location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors and tenants, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail and mall location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report unusual conditions, hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a positive customer experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
