Academic Affairs Administration | Sustainability InstituteServes as the Program Manager for Interdisciplinary Graduate and Professional Education and Learning, as a part of the Sustainability Institute (SI). Manages graduate and professional sustainability programs facilitated by the Sustainability Institute with guidance from the SI Director of Education and Learning, SI Director, Sustainability Education and Learning Committee (SELC) and other associated faculty leadership teams. Advises prospective and current students in interdisciplinary sustainability graduate degree and degree enhancement programs, including the Master of Energy Sustainability (MES) program. Recruits students for the MES program and other interdisciplinary graduate/professional sustainability programs or degree enhancements. Provides professional development and training opportunities to students with interests in sustainable energy careers with guidance from the MES leadership team. Collaborates with sustainability education faculty and the Graduate School on strategic planning efforts related to admissions, degree requirements and completion, developing pathways for job placement, development of new curricula and specialization pathways for existing programs, and sustainability-related student engagement opportunities to graduate and professional students. Builds strong partnerships with sustainability education faculty leadership and key internal and external partners. Creates program resources and materials; assists with program assessment and tracking. Reports to the SI Director of Education and Learning. Completes special projects for SI education initiatives and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in program management, student advising, recruitment, and engagement, with a particular focus on sustainability-related initiatives and concepts.
- Knowledge of university policies, procedures, and student support services, with experience working effectively with diverse student populations.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing deadlines, and maintain high-quality work under pressure.
- Strong commitment to customer service, relationship building, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
Experience working with faculty and staff to manage academic programs and with interdisciplinary sustainability learning programs, particularly at the graduate level - Experience working with student admissions and providing student recruitment presentations
- Strong interest in sustainability education and experience working with faculty from multiple disciplinary areas;
- Experience working with faculty to identify and meet program goals, experience creating and executing student programming.

The target hiring range for this job profile is $57,700 - $75,000. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
