The Therapist/Individual Resiliency Trainer (IRT) is a key member of a person-centered, integrated team supporting individuals experiencing First Episode Psychosis (FEP). This role provides therapy, resiliency-focused skill development, and coordinated support that helps people recognize their strengths, build coping strategies, and work toward personal wellness and recovery. Services are provided in both community and office-based settings, with opportunities to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team and connect individuals and families with resources that support whole-person well-being.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy and resiliency-focused skills training for individuals experiencing FEP
- Partner with individuals to develop wellness plans, strengthen coping and illness-management skills, and support functional recovery
- Participate as an active member of a trans-disciplinary, person-centered team
- Provide triage, assessment, crisis intervention, and on-call support as needed
- Coordinate with community and social-service partners to promote holistic care and appropriate referrals
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with agency and state requirements
- Provide culturally responsive services that honor the unique strengths, needs, and goals of each individual and family
- Stay current on FEP best practices and participate in required professional development and training
- Provide licensure supervision, when applicable
- Deliver services safely and effectively across office, community, client, and field-based settings
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology or social work by an accredited institution required
- Working knowledge of DSM-5
- A valid, unrestricted driver’s license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- Must possess and maintain a current, active clinical license in the state of Missouri (PLPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, PMFT, or LMFT, as applicable) in good standing
- Must obtain and maintain current CPR certification within 60 days of hire
- Must obtain and maintain certification in an approved crisis intervention methodology (CPI, MANDT, or CALM) within 60 days of hire
