Physician Assistant (PA) – Physiatry
Location: Florida

Position Overview
A well-established healthcare organization in Florida is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Physiatry team. The PA will assist in the evaluation and management of patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, pain, and functional conditions while working closely with physicians and other members of the care team.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations.
- Assess and manage patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional conditions.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
- Assist with the management of acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies as appropriate.
- Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice.
- Provide patient education regarding treatment, rehabilitation, and preventive care.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Provide ongoing follow-up and management of patients.
Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- NCCPA certification.
- Active Florida PA license or eligibility for licensure.
- DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
- Previous experience in Physiatry, PM&R, Pain Management, Orthopedics, or related specialty preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
